As I grew, I never lost that creative sense and maintained a deep knowing that the imagination was a gateway to creation–a portal to the divine. Being able to see angels, hear my guides, and deeply connect in the ethers to another soul (whom, years later, I found out to be my twin flame), cultivated not only a deep longing in my heart, but also a seeking impulse. In my twenties, while working for a major record label and giving birth to two kids, I also meditated and read as many spiritual texts as I could. Even though I was already on a spiritual path, in 1999, through a series of dreams, synchronicities, and visits from the angels and my beloved, I embarked on a journey to find more answers. As I stepped through the veil and touched the face of the Divine, I experienced a shattering, heart-centered awakening that took away all I thought I knew. It was the most love and the most fear I had ever known. Through the loss of my marriage and life as I knew it, I entered a major Dark Night of the Soul. This led me on a necessary journey to uncover and heal all parts of myself that didn’t feel at home on this earthly plane. Through this deep healing work, I learned to bring the darker aspects of this existence to the light. I began to see myself as a part of God experiencing each emotion (such as pain, separation, insecurity, abandonment, etc.) in order to transmute the feeling into love. I also realized an all encompassing love of this earth, Gaia Sophia, and recognized the gifts and the expansion we, as multidimensional beings, receive from co-creating in this world.

In the process of healing myself and manifesting the life I wanted for me and my kids, my intuitive and healing gifts were illuminated even more and I knew my purpose was to be a light to others on this path.
